🎉 Fotograf Zone Festival 2025: TALK TOGETHER
The 15th edition of the international Fotograf Zone Festival, titled TALK TOGETHER, focuses on language and human communication. The festival will take place from October 3–12, 2025, offering audiences new perspectives on how language shapes relationships, understanding, and conflicts.
The festival center will be located in Hall 13 at the Holešovice Market, with the program expanding into other cultural venues across Prague – including Fotograf Zone Gallery, Petrohradská kolektiv, Tempo, Skleněnka Hall, and various public spaces.
Audiences can look forward to five curatorial exhibition projects prepared especially for this edition by an international team of curators: Natália Kubíková, Judit Szalipszki, Flóra Gadó, the ETC. Magazine collective (Hana Čeferin, Lara Mejač, Ajda Kocutar), and Světlana Malina.
The exhibition program will be accompanied by performances and an extensive side program, including events directly linked to the exhibitions as well as independent performative and discussion formats addressing broader questions of the festival’s theme.
For the first time, the festival will also host the FUTURES Annual Meeting, bringing dozens of members of the international FUTURES Photography platform to Prague and presenting two group exhibitions.
At the opening of the festival on October 3 at 6:20 p.m., we will also launch the long-awaited Fotograf Zone Magazine in the form of a bookmag!
At 6:30 p.m., you can also look forward to the launch of the fifth issue of OVER Journal—a special edition within the FUTURES platform, which features works by artists and texts by authors responding to the theme of Metamorphosis.
Additionally, the festival will introduce the GROTESK project, supported by the International Visegrad Fund, connecting artists from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Poland in an exhibition that explores Eastern European aesthetics through motifs of the grotesque and the absurd.
