CHAPTER 2
I am crawling on a dusty road, carefully examining the traces of numerous legs which could help me find the right direction. I can see order in them, but the order is not meant for me. The line of footsteps indicates a clear goal of the flowing crowd, but I don't seem to understand where the way begins and where it ends. I feel frustrated by the impossibility of orientation, by the impossibility of joining a crowd I am not a part of.
What began as an expedition turned into aimless wandering. There is a blurry haze above the horizon, and I long to see a hint of something that could be my salvation. The objects I see along the way seem to be familiar, yet I fail to name them. I'm still waiting for the Sun to move, while I’m losing myself in my own irrelevance. A feeling of exclusion flows throughout my existence. As far as the eye can see, there is a glow, an endless day with no possibility of rest.

KAPITOLA DRUHÁ
Ploužím se po zaprášené cestě a pečlivě zkoumám stopy četných nohou, ze kterých bych snad mohl*a vyčíst správný směr. V cestě se skrývá řád, ten ale není určen mně. Linie šlápot mi dávají znát, že proudící davy mají jasný cíl, ale já jakobych nevěděl*a kde je začátek a kde konec. Frustruje mne nemožnost orientace, nemožnost přidat se k davu jehož nejsem součástí.
Co začalo jako výprava, proměnilo se v bezcílné bloumání. Nad horizontem se chvěje zastřený opar a já v něm toužím zahlédnout náznak něčeho, co by mohlo být indicií. Předměty, které na cestě vídám se zdají být něčím známé, ale pojmenovat je nedokážu. Stále čekám na sluneční pohyb zatímco se ztrácím ve vlastní nepatřičnosti. Celou mou existencí proudí pocit vyloučení. Kam oko dohlédne nachází se záře, nekonečný den bez možnosti spočinout.

‘Where the Sun Sets and Where It Rises’ is a narrative exhibition saga in Jedna Dva Tři Gallery. The exhibition cycle is divided into 13 chapters and a prologue. Within this series, artworks of 24 artists will be showcased. The exhibitions are a creative dialogue between the exhibiting artists, who come and intervene in the installation and then leave as the story goes.

‘Where the Sun Sets and Where It Rises’ je výpravná výstavní sága na pokračování. Letošní výstavní cyklus Jedna Dva Tři Gallery je rozdělen do 13 kapitol, ve kterých vystaví dohromady 24 umělců. Výstavy fungují jako tvůrčí dialog umělců, kteří přicházejí a zasahují do instalací, ze kterých pak zase odcházejí tak, jak se vyvíjí celý příběh.
