the 23rd of April, we would like to invite you to the concert of the “Temporary club” serie taking place at Jedna Dva Tři Gallery in the back of Petrohradská kolektiv. Carefully curated by Mojmír Měchura.
Unikátní projekt, ve kterém se sešel proměnlivý počet hráčů na syntezátor Lyra 8, se poprvé představil na jaře 2022, a to s nadšenými ohlasy. LyrArkestra+ se věnuje provádění grafických partitur primárně československých autorů v netradičním audiovizuálním pojetí. Většina zvuků pochází ze zmíněného syntezátoru, který je označován za „organismický“, tedy vnitřními interakcemi blízký živým organismům a fungující na základě pomyslných „rozhovorů“ mezi jednotlivými moduly. Podobně probíhá vícesměrná komunikace při vystoupeních tělesa. Na jedné straně tu je interakce mezi hráči a otevřenou partiturou, jejíž interpretace se vzhledem k využití Lyr a dalších elektronických nástrojů modernizuje. Zároveň mezi sebou interagují jednotliví hudebníci – výrazné a různorodé postavy místní, zejména improvizační scény –, kteří mají prostor projevit vlastní hlas, ale zároveň spolupracují s celkem. Na hudební složku pak navazuje naživo tvořená vizuální složka, která tentokrát bude v rukou týmu Petrohradská kolektiv.
The unique project, in which a variable number of players on the Lyra 8 synthesizer come together, was first introduced in the spring of 2022 to enthusiastic acclaim. LyrArkestra+ is dedicated to performing graphic scores primarily by Czechoslovak authors in an unconventional audiovisual concept. Most of the sounds come from the mentioned synthesizer, which is described as "organismic," operating through internal interactions akin to living organisms and functioning based on imaginary "conversations" between individual modules. Similarly, multidirectional communication occurs during the performances of the ensemble. On one hand, there is interaction between the players and the open score, the interpretation of which is modernized due to the use of Lyra and other electronic instruments. At the same time, individual musicians interact with each other—distinctive and diverse figures from the local, particularly improvisational scene—who have space to express their own voice while collaborating as a whole. The live-created visual component then follows the musical component, which will be in the hands of the Petrohradská kolektiv team this time.
