CHAPTER 5

After a long rest, the Shadow awoke from their delirium. Despite the lack of words, the land where they rested was strangely hospitable. The unusual society seems much more harmonious than it did at flrst glance.

What the Shadow considered a mess and a lack of structures was reftected in its freedom. This land's people are not limited by words, yet they can still communicate. At the moment they opened their mind and accepted the unknown, the Shadow felt ashamed of their original narrowmindedness and began to perceive the enchanting power of this community.

lnstead of the asceticism of rhythmic word orders, people embrace the lightness of creating melodies and painting symbols here. Although no message is straightforward, metaphors feel like a sufficient communicator. People even seem to pay much more attention to each other.

How did this land lose its words? Did it give them up voluntarily or simply never had them? And how is it possible that such a system works despite its abstractness?
