About MORPHO
Founded in 2008, MORPHO is a non-profit organisation dedicated to artistic development. It gives time, space and resources to artists by providing residencies and studios, with the aim of fostering a dynamic and sustainable context for artistic work. As a studio provider, MORPHO rent out workspaces in a growing number of buildings in and around the city of Antwerp. As an artist residency, it annually hosts around 20 residents from Belgium and abroad whom they support in their projects and trajectories. The programme consists of weekly collective sessions in an environment that encourages dialogue and experimentation.
MORPHO
Exchange residency
The Exchange residency for international artists welcomes six residents per year. In addition to a studio in the monastery and a monthly work grant, they also have a bedroom in the residency. The house, in this way, is really lived in, where local and international artists share common spaces, creating a dynamic interaction between their experiences, ideas and contacts.
